As part of its quest to service commercial transporters even better through the OTR (On-The-Road) offering, XFuels has recently added a new site in Pongola to cover traffic along the N2. 

With the increasing demand, more sites are being added to the network of depots on all major routes throughout South Africa. Transporters across the board are taking advantage of the value and peace-of-mind the technology-based OTR (On The Road) system has to offer.

The OTR Solution is a closed-loop system which only allows authorised vehicles to refuel at nominated depots for a predetermined amount.

Orders are placed for a pre-determined Rand value for a specific vehicle at a specific depot. The pumps can only dispense the Rand value ordered – and not a cent more! This means that XFuels customers indirectly control the pump! In addition, they offer real-time reporting to track all the OTR refuelling transactions, and the system allows users to view their vehicle consumption rates.

Moreover, there are stringent security measures in place to ensure complete peace of mind. Without an order, the pump at the depot will not start and cannot dispense. The dispensing of fuel into containers are also prohibited and dispensing is only allowed into side refuelling tanks of trucks.

XFuels secures fuel supply from all major refineries, ensuring reliability and competitive prices across the board. Customers can either opt for a pre-paid or pre-approved terms facility. There are also truck parking facilities available at specific sites.
